Mandap hire in North London
From Wembley and Harrow across to Edgware, Barnet and Enfield, North London hosts a remarkable number of Hindu and Indian weddings every year. Our mandap hire in North London serves banqueting halls, hotels, golf clubs and green-belt venues right up to the M25, with every mandap delivered, installed and taken down by our own team.
Between the North Circular and the M25
North London's wedding geography is defined by two great orbital roads. The A406 North Circular threads through Wembley, Brent Cross and Edmonton, while the M25 marks the outer edge beyond Barnet and Enfield. In between, the M1, A41 and A10 carry traffic in and out, and Tube lines such as the Jubilee, Metropolitan, Northern and Piccadilly give guests easy routes to most venues.
The North Circular in particular can be slow at weekends, so we plan delivery times around it rather than hoping for a clear run. It is one of the small details that keeps a ceremony on schedule.
Venues across North London
Closer to the North Circular, the area is known for large banqueting suites and function halls that are used to hosting several hundred guests, often with dedicated ceremony stages. Further out, around Stanmore, Mill Hill, Barnet and Enfield, the landscape opens up into golf clubs, country-style hotels and venues with lawns and gardens, where couples can consider an outdoor ceremony or a marquee.
Each setting asks something different of the mandap. A high banqueting hall can carry a tall, ornate canopy; a golf club function room may need a lower, wider design that keeps sightlines clear for guests. Our traditional mandaps are a natural fit for larger halls, while lighter frames suit more intimate rooms.
A North London Hindu wedding mandap, designed around your rituals
North London is home to long-established Gujarati, Punjabi and Tamil communities, among many others, and ceremonies here reflect that variety. Some families keep a full traditional sequence with a central havan and generous seating for parents and elders; others prefer a shorter ceremony and a more contemporary stage. We talk through the rituals with you, and with your priest where helpful, so the mandap supports how your ceremony actually unfolds.
- Space for four pillars or an open frame, depending on your tradition.
- Room for the havan kund, seating and the priest's offerings.
- Floral colours chosen to suit your outfits and the venue's décor.
- Clear sightlines for guests and photographers.
On the day: access, timings and fire rules
Most North London venues have on-site parking, which makes unloading straightforward, but access windows can still be tight when a hall hosts more than one event in a weekend. Installation usually takes two to four hours, and we agree arrival and collection times with the venue in advance. Our guide on working with your venue on mandap setup covers the questions worth asking early.
Fire rules vary from hall to hall. Some welcome a small contained havan; others ask for an alternative. We confirm this as part of our venue liaison so your priest can plan accordingly.
A 25% deposit secures your date, and viewings are available by appointment. To start planning, get in touch and tell us about your venue.
Frequently asked questions
Do you cover areas just outside the M25, such as Hertfordshire?
Yes. As well as North London we cover Hertfordshire and the wider Home Counties, with delivery, installation and removal included.
Can you work with a banqueting hall's own stage?
Yes. Many halls have a raised stage, and we design the mandap to sit comfortably on it, checking dimensions, weight and access in advance.
Are outdoor ceremonies possible in North London?
At venues with lawns or gardens, yes. Our outdoor mandaps use weighted bases, and we always agree a wet-weather plan with the venue.
